Kisumu All-Stars has not made a decision on whether to replace their former head coach Salim Babu or not, CEO Nicholas Ochieng has revealed. The coaching position at the club fell vacant three weeks ago when Babu left the team for Bungoma-based FKF Premier League side, Nzoia Sugar FC. He had been in charge of the team since the start of the 2020/21 season and narrowly missed out on promotion last season. The former Kenyan Premier League side is yet to name Babu’s replacement. Assistant coach Evans Oketch stepped on a temporary basis. Reached for a comment about the coaching situation at the club, club supremo said a decision on the same is yet to be made as the club is yet to have a sitting since Babu departed. He added that they will have a way forward after a meeting that will be held at an unspecified date.Salim Babu is the new Nzoia Sugar FC coach. He will remain in charge until a decision on the fate of the coaching position at the cub is made,” he added.All-Stars are currently in 14th position in the National Super League standings with 13 points after 11 rounds of league outings. Next for them is a home match against Kibera Black Stars.
