Musilwa reveals plan after failing to get new club

Former AFC Leopards midfielder Eugene Musilwa will have to sit out of the remainder of the current campaign after failing to nail a club in the just concluded transfer window. The winger was released by Ingwe after the expiry of his short-term contract with the club and in an earlier interview, he had expressed confidence in finding a new home before the transfer window closed on 7th February 2022.“I have offers on the table, a couple of teams have approached me and I am confident that I will make a move before the transfer window closes. I want to play and that’s what my decision on the choice of the team will be based on,” he said in an earlier interview with Mozzart Sport.Among clubs that the forward anticipated to join are Wazito FC and Gor Mahia who are currently serving a transfer ban. He has now confirmed that he will be out until the offseason window where he will be seeking a new home.🇰🇪 Eugene “Pedro” Musilwa (22) is a wanted man in the Tanzanian Premier League. 🔥 Pedro’s current contract runs out this month with 🇰🇪 AFC Leopards and is already wanted by four (4) teams. He is an attacking midfielder and can also play as a second striker.#Pedro #Transfers pic.twitter.com/nVK6ar3UWx— Micky Jnr ✪ (@MickyJnr__) January 2, 2022 “I was hoping to join an FKF Premier League club but we did not reach an agreement on time and I will have to wait until the next transfer window to return to competitive football,” he told Mozzart Sport. He adds that he will focus on personal training and regular sessions with a couple of local sides.“I will be training on my own as I have in the past, I have the discipline to do that.
