Sofapaka head coach Ken Odhiambo has challenged his charges to keep working and improving until the current FKF Premier League campaign comes to a close in mid-June.Tenth placed Batoto ba Mungu returned to winning ways last weekend when they downed Wazito FC 2-1 at the Utalii Grounds. Joe Waithira and Lawrence Juma goals helped the team register its first win in five games and in the process propelled them to tenth in the FKF Premier League table.Unlike last season, Batoto Ba Mungu’s camp has been largely peaceful this season. Salary issues are now a thing of the past in the team and their performance has equally improved, unlike the last campaign where they battled the drop for the better part of the season.📸 | Wazito vs Sofapaka match gallery@betikaKe@OyandoRonny#BatotoBaMungu pic.twitter.com/vMMWTo60Q2— Sofapaka FC (@FC_Sofapaka) February 13, 2022 Asked whether finally returning to winning ways eases the pressure for his side, the former Harambee Stars assistant coach was quick to dismiss the assumption. He maintains that his team has to keep working to improve until the end of the season.“There is no room for relaxing, in football, you can never get it 100% right, yes we won but we have to go back to the drawing board and keep working to improve ourselves ahead of our forthcoming matches. We have to work and grow as a team and players as individuals. It is important that we won against Wazito but that is now behind us, we now shift focus on our forthcoming matches,” he told Mozzart Sport.Sofapaka’s next opponent is Tusker FC. The two teams will face off at the Kasarani Annex on 26th February.
