Tusker FC goalkeeper Patrick Matasi was left with a bitter-sweet taste after his team registered a barren draw against Ulinzi Stars on Wednesday afternoon at the ASK Grounds in Nakuru.The Brewers, who has hoped to complete a double over the 2010 league champions after their 2-0 at Ruaraka Grounds on Saturday found the going tough in Nakuru as the hard-fighting soldiers managed to force a draw and walk home with a point.For Matasi however, it was a case of bitter-sweet, despite his team dropping points, he managed to keep his eighth clean sheet of the season. The player has featured in ten games and managed to prevent his team from conceding in eight of the matches. Yesterday’s clean sheet was the 6th in a row and 8th out of the 10 matches I’ve played in the league this season,” Matasi tweeted.The Brewers have managed to shake off their early struggles in the league and are currently cruising, the team had lost six of its opening 12 matches of the season and coach Robert Matano’s stay at the club was slowly becoming untenable. They are currently sixth in the log with 30 points after 18 rounds of league matches. They are also seven points adrift of leaders Kakamega Homeboyz.Next for them is a match against 2009 champions Sofapaka. The match will be played on 26th February at Kasarani.
