Wekesa eyeing redemption at Wazito

Wazito FC new signing Curtis Wekesa believes that he will be back to his best soon and has vowed to push himself both in training and during matches. The skillful attacker completed a move to Wazito FC from KCB on the final day of the mid-season transfer window. He made his debut a week ago against Sofapaka and had an immediate impact. He played a part in Aziz Okaka’s debut goal before winning a stoppage-time penalty that Eli Asieche lost, Sofapaka went on to win the game 2-1.Wekesa was once one of the most highly-rated and most sought-after attackers in the country. In 2019, after a great season with Nairobi Stima, a host of clubs came knocking and he opted to join record league champions Gor Mahia. His dream move however immediately turned to a nightmare that would see him leave the club without playing a single game. He picked a bad knee injury that required surgery and a year after fully recovering he moved to KCB where he lasted for a year before his switch to the Fred Ambani-led team.90’PENALTYCurtis Wekesa wins us a spot kick.#Wazito4life— Wazito Football Club (@wazitofc) February 12, 2022 He is now in Wazito colors and the player has ambitious plans.
