Nairobi City Stars winger John Kamau has been left delighted with the amount of game time he has already accumulated in the current 2021/2022 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season compared to the previous campaign.Half way through the current season, the former Tusker player has already tasted action in eleven of the 18 matches so far played by the club. In the entire 2020/2021 campaign, the left footed attacker only managed to make five appearances out of the 33 games the team played under then Bosnian head coach Sanjin Alagic.Sven Yidah revels in sophomore year with City StarsIn that season, he only clocked a combined total of 165 playing minutes with only one start to his name. This season though, under head coach Nicholas Muyoti, the player has started in three games and has been off the bench on five other occasions, leaving the player delighted with the increased game time.“For now I have to say the season is going on well. He however rejoined Simba wa Nairobi in January 2020 on a short term contract while the team was still in the National Super League (NSL) where he was part of the team that won the title and gained promotion that season.Upon promotion, the player was handed a two season deal with the club. Next weekend, Kamau will be hoping to continue playing a part in the team as they take on Mathare United on Saturday 26 February 2022.The Jonathan Jackson owned side has had a good run this season and are currently second on the log with 32 points from 18 matches, but could drop to third depending on the decision made on the abandoned Gor Mahia and Vihiga Bullets clash.
