Sofapaka coach discusses plans for his youngsters

Sofapaka FC head coach Ken Odhiambo has spoken on the importance of the young players currently in the team and views them as the future of the club.Batoto ba Mungu made mass signings before the start of the season and roped in a number of youngsters as well who are now part of their first-team setup and coach Odhiambo says they will be important to the team.Among the young players in the team is ex. St. Anthony’s Boys Kitale duo of Jacob Onyango and Sammy Rono Kiplagat, ex-Western Stima midfielder Geoffrey Ojunga, former Ruiru Hot-Stars attacker Robert Karisa among others.◾|The FUTURE is here! He adds that the players will be key for the team as they keep improving.“There are some young players that we are trying to introduce in the team, they are not badly off ad we will continue working with them and at the end of the day we will shape them to become the players we want them to be. We have Jacob (Onyango) the striker, we have Ojunga (Geoffrey), we have Hamidi (Mohammed), we have Rono (Sammy). We have many good young players and we will keep improving them,” he said.Next for Sofapaka is a home game against Tusker FC.
