Arsenal put Lacazette’s contract talks on hold ahead of the Wolverhampton EPL tie

Arsenal will not hold contract talks with striker Alexandre Lacazette until the end of the season, The Athletic reported on Thursday ahead of the Gunners’ Premier League tie against the Wolves.Lacazette, who has captained the club after former team-mate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was stripped of the armband in December, is due to be out of contract in the summer.However, the Londoners’ coach Mikel Arteta remains hopeful he can keep the Frenchman at the Emirates Stadium.Arteta on Lacazette: “He has a really important role in the team.
