Bullets aiming for AFC Leopards soft underbelly in Sunday clash

Vihiga Bullets head coach Juma Abdallah says his team will be out to get a win over AFC Leopards when the two teams meet at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday afternoon.Bottom-placed Bullets have been fighting to move from the foot of the log and draws against teams like Tusker, and KCB have pointed at a team that is slowly improving after what was a difficult start to life in the top tier. The team’s improvement has been down to players that they acquired in January and the backline that was shipping in so many goals has since been fixed.Ahead of the match on Sunday, Juma says they are determined to beat Leopards at Nyayo National team as they want to move from the foot of the log. The two teams played out to a one-all draw in the first leg staged at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT “Turn up in numbers tomorrow at Nyayo Stadium our super fans ,we won’t disappoint “, Levis Opiyo Full Interview ➡️ || https://t.co/gU9Sdl3cKF#Betsafe #OursForever #INGWE pic.twitter.com/K9z8X100db— AFC Leopards (@AFCLeopards) February 26, 2022 “We are coming to Nairobi to win. This does not mean that we disrespect Leopards but we have prepared well for this game, and looking at where we are at the table, we do not have the luxury of dropping points we are coming to fight to get a win or at worst a draw in that game,” he told Mozzart Sport.Juma also believes that his team has grown in confidence. He says that they have been trying to raise their players’ self-belief, an aspect that he believes will be important in the relegation fight.“We have prepared well, and one of the things that we have been working on is the players’ confidence and self-belief and I think right now we are very strong and ready mentally. I think that I also have a good record against Leopards as a coach and I will push my players to get a result tomorrow,” he added. The match will kick-off at 3 PM.
