Going forward, if given a chance, I would like to help the team achieve a higher finish on the table than last season by scoring but much emphasis will be put in creating chances since I am always perched at the fulcrum to attack and hopefully I will also follow in the footsteps of Wasambo and Onyi,” he told the club’s media. He made his premier league debut last season against Vihiga United and also made an appearance in the last match against Sofapaka last season but was withdrawn moments later and he now understands why that happened.4️⃣ youth team players ( Mathew Kibiwott,Isaac Otieno,Geoffrey Onyango,Ian Omondi)will make their senior team debut on the bench today.😄| We are looking forward to see who will feature in today’s match.#WeAreSharks #BetwaySharks pic.twitter.com/VLdfgQepaJ— Kariobangi Sharks FC (@k_sharksfc) July 17, 2021 Since then, Kibiwott feels that he has picked so many lessons along the way and is now ready to take the top tier by storm.“Since being brought on and then pulled out after several minutes in the final league game against Sofapaka last season, I learnt that you cannot always be in action since it’s the top league there are moments which you have to understand. I feel I have added a lot as a player since my major undoing was recklessness and impatience. I can now regulate my energy and know how to manage myself as to know instances when to run or keep the ball so as it is when to release or press an opponent,” he added
