Sofapaka trio out of KCB clash

FKF Premier League side, Sofapaka have announced that three of their players will miss their Saturday league match against KCB that will be staged at the Kasarani Stadium due to different injuries.Batoto ba Mungu will be seeking to recover from last Friday’s defeat to Tusker FC when they entertain the Bankers at Kasarani.KCB equally lost their last game; they suffered a 1-0 defeat in the hands of Ulinzi Stars in Kericho.Ahead of their Saturday clash against Zedekiah Otieno’s charges, Batoto ba Mungu have confirmed that midfielders Sebastien Sunday and Brandon Obiero will sit out through injuries. The midfielder is expected to miss the Saturday afternoon encounter. The team will miss the services of Nixon Omondi. The defender suffered the hamstring setback during a Tusker tie on Friday last week. Brandon Obiero who suffered a Gastrocnemius medialis injury will once again sit out as he continues with his rehabilitation,” read a post from the club’s website.Batoto ba Mungu are currently in 12th position in the FKF Premier League log with 24 points after 18 rounds of league matches.
