Nzoia Sugar FC head coach Salim Babu says they will be out to get three points when they take on Mathare United on Saturday but is wary of the threat possed by the wounded Slum Boys. The match will be between two sides in the wrong side of the table. Mathare are second last in the log with ten points and above them is Nzoia with five more points. Both teams have played 19 rounds of league matches.Last weekend, the Slum Boys got their second win of the season against Kariobangi Sharks and in the process completed a double over William Muluya’s side, Mathare United on the other hand were condemned to a damning 3-0 defeat by Nairobi City Stars.”We definitely want to get all the maximum points as we are still in the red zone and because we are also facing a team that is just below us in the table. It will be a fierce survival fight on Saturday but I am positive that we can get a good result because we have had enough time to prepare,” he told Mozzart Sport, ##EDITORS_CHOICE##He further termed last weekend’s win (over Sharks) as a big confidence boost.”We needed that for the team’s confidence and I think it had changed the mood in the camp. The players are more confident now, they are enjoying the sessions and it is just a matter of time before we completely ease our relegation fears,” he added. He finished by warning that they cannot afford to underrate the 2008 league champions.”That’s something I have warned the players about. We can’t afford to underrate anyone, Mathare are equally fighting to avoid relegation and I know that this will be far from a comfortable match. We have won just two games all season and that means there is a lot of work to be done. We have to remain grounded and work hard, “he added. The match, set to be staged at the Kasarani Annex, will kick off at 3 PM EAT.
