Modo sharpening attacking ahead of AFC Leopards duel

Bandari FC stand-in head coach Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani is returning to face his former side AFC Leopards on Sunday and plans to have his attack firing on all cylinders in the duel.Modo is the former Ingwe captain and also served as the interim head coach from 2019 up till Patrick Aussems took charge of the team back in February 2021.The former Mathare United defender admitted that his side squandered numerous chances in the 1-1 draw against Gor Mahia last time out and will work his forward’s finishing.🗓️ | BURDAN YA MWEZI HUU🐆 | AFC Leopards (Ugenini) 🔴 | FC Talanta (Ugenini) 🌽 | Kakamega Homeboyz (Nyumbani) 🦁 | Nairobi City Stars (Nyumbani) #BandariNiYetu pic.twitter.com/g07NxCnhXg— Bandari Football Club (@BandariOfficial) March 3, 2022 “In the game against Gor Mahia, we were not able to utilize our chances and moving forward I and the other coaches will work on that extensively to see where we can make amends in the coming match. My biggest worry would be if we were not creating chances because you have more work to do but now what is left is not that challenging because the boys just need to have composure in front of goal,” said Kimani. The Dockers have however been on a wretched run of form after going eight games without a win as they have slipped out of the title race.Bandari saw their injuries woes ease with the return of Umaru Kasumba and Johanna Mwita but Modo is hoping to see more of his players return from injuries.Tazama wazee wazima wanavyokata mauno 👇🏾 https://t.co/dSnAMHLz0c— Bandari Football Club (@BandariOfficial) March 3, 2022 “We have had a lot of injuries not only Kasumba and Mwita, Faraj, Keagan, Isuza and Aloro are still out but I’m happy when I see the ones who were out slowly returning to fitness. I hope that the ones who are returning will be able to ensure Bandari posts better results,” added Kimani.
