Nairobi City Stars coach Nicholas Muyoti has praised Liberty Academy for handing his side a competitive friendly match ahead of their Saturday league assignment against Bidco United in Thika.Simba wa Nairobi took on Liberty Academy in a friendly match at the Gems Cambridge Grounds on Wednesday, a match that the top tier side registered a resounding 6-1 win. It was part of the team’s preparation ahead of Saturday’s showdown in Thika.Muyoti fielded a team consisting majorly of players who did not start against Mathare United last Saturday and they did the job in spectacular style.Vincent Otieno grabbed a brace in the game for Simba wa Nairobi. The other goals were scored by Mike Madoya, Augustine Kuta, Rowland Makati and Oliver Maloba. Boniface Wambete got the consolation goal for the hosts.Muyoti hailed Liberty, that’s owned by former Harambee Stars coach Jacob Mulee terming it a good side with good players.
