Kenya Police ended their two-match losing streak after holding Tusker FC to a two-all draw in an FKF Premier League match staged at the Brewers’ Ruaraka backyard on Saturday afternoon.Heading to the game, Tusker were unbeaten in the last seven games while the law enforcers had lost their last two games to Kariobangi Sharks and Wazito FC.Police got to a dream start when new signing Harun Shakava opened the scoring with a superb header in the fourth minute. The parity lasted for just 15 minutes before another new acquisition, Shaphan Oyugi drew Tusker level with a superb left foot finish. After getting the leveler, Tusker took control of the clash and started to attack endlessly, John Njuguna came close two minutes later but his shot was saved by Police keeper, Job Ochieng, next was Rodgers Ouma whose shot narrowly missed Police’s goal. Jackson Macharia and Ibrahim Joshua were the next to miss Tusker’s first half flurry of chances.##EDITORS_CHOICE##The hosts continued to dominate the game after the interval but found it hard to penetrate Police’s rearguard and just before the hour mark, coach Robert Matano opted for triple substitutions. Eric Zakayo, Humphrey Mieno and Clyde Senaji were brought in for Jackson Macharia, Shaphan Oyugi and Rodgers Ouma.Zakayo almost made an immediate impact as in the 60th minute he delivered a great cross that Ibrahim should have converted only for his effort to come off the upright. He had another chance in the 67th minute but he shot wide from a prime position.Police resorted to deep defending in the closing stages of the game to salvage a point from the game.
