She ordered for a retake after the linesman spotted the goalkeeper off his line during the initial penalty. Kipkirui still missed.Muyoti admitted that both penalties should not have stood and called for investigations into some referees who are preferred to officiate in games involving certain teams.“The penalty was not supposed to be a penalty, in fact, both penalties were not supposed to be penalties, we have to look at the officiating and improve it.We have to look at officiating now because as we are fighting for the title if you find that one referee is officiating your games consistently, it raises a question mark,” said Muyoti.Drama galore as Bidco outwit favourites City StarsThe former Kakamega Homeboyz head coach added that some referees in the league have not been up to standards noting that his team did not also turn up against Bidco.“There are teams that also have one referee in a number of games and those referees are not competent at all so we have to look into that.Generally, my team did not play to their standards and now we have to go back to the drawing board and look at attacking and defending well,” added Muyoti.
