Highly-rated AFC Leopards midfielder Collins Sichenje could join Kenyan duo Erick “Marcelo” Ouma and Henry Meja at Swedish top-tier side AIK according to reports. AIK Lead Scout Tobias Ackerman and renowned intermediary Patrick Mork attended Ingwe’s recent FKFPL game specifically to monitor the player but according to Swedish outlet Afton Bladet, they were also impressed with another unnamed midfielder at the club. According to a reliable source, the club is also eager to capture Kenyan youngster Rajab Umar who is in the books of Ligi Ndogo. The left-footed central midfielder has featured for Kenya U15 and U17 National teams and word has it he will be roped in by AIK as soon as he turns 18. Erick “Marcelo” Ouma had his best season in Sweden last year and his performance has opened doors for more Kenyans at the club. The club recently acquired Henry Meja from Tusker and the striker has hit the ground running. It is widely reported in Sweden that Ouma, a former Gor Mahia player, could exit AIK in the near future and the club is already preparing for that. Axel Björnström, a decent left-back by all standards recently joined the club while word has it the club is also monitoring fast-rising Tanzanian Pascal Msindo who is currently in the books of Azam, all these clear indications that the team is willing to let Ouma go if they get a good offer that matches their valuation of the Kenyan International.
