Bullish Gor Mahia rally Kisumu fans after SDT reprieve

Gor Mahia have urged their supporters to turn up in large numbers for their Sunday league action against Kenya Police FC in Kisumu after the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) suspended FKF Caretaker Committee’s decision to ban fans from attending Gor’s next two matches in addition to them forfeiting their match against Vihiga Bullets. On Thursday, the Aaron Ringera led committee announced that it had awarded Bullets the abandoned league match between the record league champions and the FKF PL newbies. The February 13th match at Kasarani was abandoned at halftime after Bullets refused to take to the pitch citing security concerns after a melee involving fans and stewards that left scores injured and property damaged.Gor then moved to SDT to challenge the decision and the court issued orders barring the caretaker committee from enforcing the point’s deduction and barring fans from the stadium.🟢 | ANNOUNCEMENTCourt suspends sanctions imposed on us (two-match empty stadium & points deduction) pending hearing of a case filed by the club.
