Kenyan international Alwyn Tera was trusted with another start as his Ararat-Armenia side thumped Noah FC 3-0 in the Armenian Premier League on Monday.Since making the move from Georgian side Saburtalo in July 2021, Tera has been a mainstay at Ararat-Armenia as he has cemented a regular starting berth in the side.Noah looked to be holding up well against the table-toppers but their resistance was finally breached three minutes from the halftime break through a strike from Jonathan Alexander Duarte Duran.The Colombian forward received a cross-field ball from Cape Verde midfielder Mailson Lima Duarte Lopes as Duarte chested the ball down and fired it into the back of the net as Ararat-Armenia went into the break leading.Mailson Lima Duarte Lopes finally got his name on the scoresheet after being the provider in the first as he controlled the ball with finesse while taking a turn and poked the ball home.Burkina Faso forward Zakaria Sanogo assured all three points for Ararat-Armenia in the 75th minute by chesting the ball home from close range after a cut back from Artem Avanesyan took a wicked deflection.

Tera was withdrawn in the 83rd minute with Armen Ambartsumyan handed the final seven minutes with the win all but secured.The ensured Ararat-Armenia fastened their grip at the summit of the log as they hold a six-point buffer against second-placed Pyunik who have a game in hand.
