Football Kenya Federation Premier League side Nairobi City Stars paid a courtesy call to Laiser Hill Academy to return a hand following the signing of one of their alumni Timothy Noor Ouma two years ago.Ouma, also known as Babu, joined Simba wa Nairobi in August 2020 having been named the Chapa Dimba Rift Valley Most Valuable Player in March the same year after leading Laiser Hill’s comeback against Kapenguria Heroes to clinch the regional title after post-match penalties.Babu has since fitted in well to the Simba wa Nairobi family having improved on his debut season in 2020/21 FKF Premier League to become an integral part of the team.💥| @NrbCityStars’ Timothy ‘Babu’ Ouma is the only player in the 2021/2022 FKFPL season to have scored in each of the 3 games played so farAgainst Sofapaka,he scored in the 87′ minute,against Kenya Police in the 18′ and against Wazito in the 78′. Our visit was to hand them a token of appreciation as a way of thanking them for providing us with a great performer. We hope it will encourage the lads still at the school to follow in Babu’s path. We will continue engaging with Laiser Hill with a view of tapping into their rich talent base in future.” Otieno is quoted on the club’s portalLaiser Hill’s Dean of Students and Director of Programmes Tony Kingori appreciated the gesture from the FKFPL team, wishing their former student and player better tidings ahead.“We are very grateful for the kind gesture from the management of City Stars FC.
