Boost for AFC Leopards as caretaker committee clears new signings

AFC Leopards have been handed a major boost ahead of their weekend game against Kenya Police FC after their January signings were cleared to play by the FKF Caretaker Committee.Ingwe’s new signings were yet to feature for the club two months after joining the team owing to a row with their former player Soter Kayumba who had moved to FIFA seeking the settlement of their dues. The two parties had initially agreed on a payment plan but the player went back to FIFA claiming that Ingwe had reneged on the payment plan, claims that Leopards refuted, FIFA then sided with Leopards and lifted the suspension. Before even the dust had settled, Leopards were slapped with another embargo after their former striker Shaka Bienvenue moved to FIFA on similar grounds, a ban transfer ban was once again slapped on Ingwe.⚽️ @AFCLeopards vs Police FC📅 THIS SUNDAY (20th March 2022)🏟 Nyayo Stadium #TujazeNyayo ❓❓ SASA MBONA UKOSE HII@Betsafe_KE #OursForever #INGWE pic.twitter.com/dm7z2TNdiS— AFC Leopards (@AFCLeopards) March 17, 2022 Things however have eased for Leopards and the new signings have been handed cards by the caretaker committee and are now available for fielding.
