Muluya worried with kariobangi Sharks winless run

Kariobangi Sharks tactician William Muluya has acknowledged that the team’s current run in the Football Kenya Federation Premier league is worrying with 11 matches left to play.Sharks are currently on a five-game winless streak that has seen them spiral down the pecking order to eighth on the log despite having been among the favorites for the title this season at some point.Kariobangi Sharks’ unconvincing form continued today as their winless run stretched to five FKF Premier League games following an entertaining 1-1 draw against Bidco United at Thika Municipal Stadium.— Geoffrey Mwamburi (@bekimwamburi) March 16, 2022 Speaking to the club’s media, Muluya said that the trend is worrying considering their perfect start to the campaign, maintaining that they will still stick to their young guns who have been introduced to the team recently.”It’s worrying because we began on a high but we have not had the best of runs in the past 5 outings. The important thing is that we have been having the experienced players but now we have the young ones coming up well but we will work our socks off in the upcoming fixtures,” the tactician is quoted saying.Sharks last win in the league came more than a month ago against Kenya Police at Nyayo Stadium as they won by a solitary goal.⏸️ IntervalEven at the break.🤝 @Betway_KE #WeAreSharks #BetwaySharks pic.twitter.com/nwEV8jcMPp— Kariobangi Sharks FC (@k_sharksfc) March 16, 2022 Since then, they have lost to Nzoia Sugar and Tusker and drawn against Wazito, Mathare United, and Bidco United, all of those being scoring draws. In the last five games, Sharks have conceded at least one goal in every game and Muluya has rue lack of concentration in those matches during periods when they conceded.“Failing to defend for the fourth consecutive game simply translates to lack of concentration, we will use the players that are available there’s no problem with them as they haven’t been getting a chance and I will field all of those who have not been playing,” he added.
