FC Talanta head coach Ken Kenyatta has downplayed the importance of setting targets for the season and he says his aim is to win each and every game.Talanta started life in the top tier strongly after promotion before the start of the current campaign but in recent weeks, things became tough for the outfit largely due to off-field issues which have since been addressed.Signs that things were good on the financial front were evident when they defeated Sofapaka on Wednesday at the Kasarani Annex to end their four-match winless run, they had lost three of their last four games prior to the triumph over Batoto ba Mungu.Fc Talanta Francis Kahiro in action against @fc_sofapaka during their FKF premier league match at Kasarani Annex on 16th,March,2022.Fc Talanta won 2-1 pic.twitter.com/KFXSghcb8Y— Enockomosa (@Enocksanchez1) March 17, 2022 Asked what position he wants to end the season in, the tactician was quick to downplay the importance of having goals. He clarified that he subscribes to a game at a time policy and is solely focused on their next assignment which is the return leg tie against Batoto ba Mungu.“I do not have any targets set for the season, I do not set targets. What is important is that we take each game at a time and try to get maximum points from each and every game. Our focus now is to plan for the next game (against Sofapaka). When we resume training, all our efforts will be geared towards getting another win when we meet in the second leg,” he seasoned tactician said.Talanta occupy the ninth position in the table with 29 points after 23 rounds of league matches. They will host Sofapaka on 2nd April at the Ruaraka Grounds.
