Kariobangi Sharks midfield dynamo Patilah Omoto has embraced the two-week long break granted Football Kenya Federation Premier League clubs saying it will give his side time to polish the striking front.Sharks had not won in the last five matches before the break, with Patilah, the longest serving player at the club currently attributing the run to the goal shy forward line.In the five matches where they collected three points courtesy of the draws againstBidco United, Wazito and Mathare United, Sharks managed to score four goals and at the same time, conceded six.Apart from the blunt striking front, Omoto pointed out at impatience and decision making as other contributers to the woeful run but remained confident that the technical bench will address them before hosting Bidco on April 2.”The break will give us time to reflect and work on what did not work for us in the last five matches. We have not been at our best in the final third due to impatience and making the right decisions,” he said.Earlier, Sharks head coach William Muluya had lamented on the injuries in his camp after failing to master a win in five rounds but the tactician will be glad to have Omoto back when the league resumes. There are also a number of players carrying knocks who will also benefit from the break,” he noted.Meanwhile, the former AFC Leopards midfielder believes that the team has a realistic chance of finishing inside the top four bracket. The former Cup holders depicted signs of a team that was hungry for the title when the season began but a series of unwanted results recently has seen them fall outside the top five bracket. However with more than ten rounds remaining, Omoto feels there is still time to redeem themselves and at least finish in the top four.
