Before joining the club at the start of the month, Kenya Police FC had endured a seven-game winless run but early indications reveal new head coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo is changing the fortunes of the club. The Law Enforces secured a win in Pamzo’s first game in charge after getting the better of Gor Mahia and settled for a draw against AFC Leopards on Sunday after Elvis Rupia had handed them the lead.Usishtuke kutuona tumejaa town. The team it’s a mixture of experienced players and young players. I’ve worked with most of the players and I understand them. For instanceShakava and Musa are very easy to deal with,” he said, “What I have brought into the team is belief because in the last two games we have played really well, especially against Gor and we are also trying to get our identity because we have players who can do it,” said Pamzo.Despite breaking the bank to land a number of experienced players including Francis Kahata, Duke Abuya, Clifton Miheso, Musa Mohammed, Harun Shakava and Elvis Rupia, Police have struggled to live up to expectations.Pamzo however admitted that he still has a lot to learn noting that the subs made in the clash against AFC Leopards cost his side points.Asanteni kwa kukuja#Betsafe #OursForever #INGWE pic.twitter.com/MJLqqM3hd3— AFC Leopards (@AFCLeopards) March 21, 2022 “I need to learn about subs and know about the players who are coming in, you could see the difference when AFC made their subs, my subs did not work. As time goes on I’m going to learn more about the boys and make more concrete decisions about the subs because subs win you games, AFC could have won the game because of subs,” added Pamzo.
