Mesut Ozil has been suspended by his own club – again

History is deemed to repeat itself – especially with Mesut Ozil. Turkish giants Fenerbahce confirmed that Ozil and his teammate Ozan Tufan have been suspended from the first team with immediate effect. In total, Ozil spent ten months frozen out of Arsenal’s first team before finally joining Fenerbahce in January 2021.The two players will not be forced to train separately. Mesut Ozil played 37 matches for Fener and scored 9 goals and made 3 assists since joining from Arsenal. Ozan Tufan played in 182 games, scored 21 goals and made 24 assists.
