Juventus reaches wage ceiling because of Pogba

Manchester United – Juventus – Manchester United….Juventus? Will this be a career path for Paul Pogba? As things stand, the Frenchman will leave Old Trafford in June, for the second time, and he will leave as a free agent, for the second time. There are no current negotiations between the club and the player, and it doesn’t seems that it will happen in the near future. For starters, the Red Devils don’t know who their manager would be, and they don’t know how that future manager rates Pogba. So, to give the player another big contact (he currently earns around 15 million euros per season) not knowing his future is not so wise, even for Manchester. ✍️| Paul #Pogba extending his contract at Manchester is not yet completely ruled out. But free at the end of the season, he is wanted by several big teams in Europe, including #Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.[@JulienMaynard]— Juventus Area (@juventus_area) March 28, 2022 On the other hand, the Frenchman has become disillusioned with his role in the club. Even he doesn’t know where should he play and how, which was evident in his interview for La Figaro.“Deschamps and I get along very well. He gave me a role that I know, but at Manchester United, do I really have a role? I’m asking the question and I don’t know the answer. To be honest, I’m not satisfied by the five last seasons, I’m really not. For this year it’s over, we still won’t win anything. Whether it’s with Manchester or in another club, I want to win trophies” said Pogba. ‘I’ve battled depression and it started with Mourinho’So, it is clear that a miracle is needed for the Frenchman to sign an extension with Manchester, but what are the options then? Considering his reputation, wage demands and quests for trophies, it leaves basically two clubs: Juventus and PSG. The Parisians are always an interesting party, since their ongoing goal is to bring as much world stars as possible. After all, he will come as a free agent and he is a Frenchman who only played in his homeland for Le Havre, as a youngster. (2.50) TUNISIA (2.80) MALI (3.35)The other option is to go back to Juventus again. He won trophies there, knows the club, likes Italy, and played his best football there. His old coach Massimiliano Allegri is back and he knows how to use him, unlike Mourinho, Solskjaer and Ranginck. Pogba scored 34 goals in 178 games during his first spell in Turin, while he managed just five goals more in 229 appearances with Manchester United. According to the Italian media, Juventus has already prepared a wage package worth Pogba – 10 million euros per year. The club would use the Growth Decree to get a tax discount on the player’s gross salary, but Pogba would also have to take a pay cut (earns 15 million at the moment) in order to go back to Turin. The signs from the player are positive so far, but nothing is certain yet.
