Ghana and Nigeria to represent Africa at the 2022 Costa Rica FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup

Seasoned participants Ghana and Nigeria will represent the African continent at the upcoming 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup that is set to take place in Costa Rica from 10-28 August 2022.This follows the completion of the knockout stage of the qualification process this week. With no African team having ever won the competition before, expectation is once again on the shoulders of the two West African nations who will compete for the prize in the 16 team tourney.Both teams are no strangers to the tournament.
