We needed the rest because we were a bit fatigued due to the congested fixtures but now we are rejuvenated, we have the strength back and we are ready to go for the next task,” the veteran midfielder is quoted on the club’s website.Tusker resume league action with an identical tie to their last one before the break, this time enjoying the home advantage as they host KCB at Ruaraka Grounds on Saturday.📅| Mark your calendars. This is how our fixtures look like for the month of April.#KenyaMilele #Brewers4Life pic.twitter.com/EPV7JbnNwM— 🏆Tusker FC (@tusker_fc) March 29, 2022 While reviewing their last encounter, the former Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards player noted that they were dejected by the result despite playing against a KCB side that he termed as tough.Mieno, however, believes that they have worked on the areas they thought they would have done better and are raring to go against the side he was part of more than a decade ago.“It was a very tough match with few chances because KCB is a really good side and have improved over the years. The players were dejected at the final whistle because currently we are holding ourselves in high regard and we wanted all three points. But we take the point and move forward. There are some things we learnt from playing in the first leg and we need to improve and do better at home. We have worked on them and raring to go. The most important thing for us now is to stay focused and win all our matches then we see where we end up when the season closes,” he added.
