Over a year ago, English press was anticipating that Manchester United will offer an extension to Bruno Fernandes even thou he had the current one running until 2025. They were supposed to double his wage and sign another long term contract. But the word was also out that the Portuguese was having second thoughts and wanted his teammate Paul Pogba to commit to the club first, as he apparently rated ambition and trophies over money.
