Meja, Marcelo lose at AIK, Odada on the winning end in Serbia

Kenyan duo of Erick ‘Marcelo’ Ouma and Henry Meja were on the losing end as their side AIK kicked off their 2022 campaign in the Swedish top-tier on Saturday evening with a 4-2 beating in the hands of BK Hacken.Ouma managed to last only the first 45 minutes, being replaced by Axel Bjornström at the start of the second half while Meja had to settle for time on the bench throughout the match. The former Tusker FC forward recently made the switch to AIK and was hoping to get his league debut in Sweden after being impressive in the preseason but it seems he will have to wait perhaps for the next match.Premiären slutar med förlust. pic.twitter.com/dE6qjlwvzL— AIK Fotboll (@aikfotboll) April 2, 2022 AIK went down early in the first half from the spot courtesy of Alexander Jeremejeff 12 minutes in and conceded a second goal just two minutes after the opener, Jeremejeff doubling the advantage.Nabil Bahoui pulled one back five minutes after Hacken’s second, with Oscar Uddenas scoring the third to restore the two-goal cushion 10 minutes after the second half restarted.Slightly over the hour mark, Jeremejeff scored Hacken’s fourth, completing his hattrick in the process with Yasin Ayari getting the second for AIK with 13 minutes left in regular time.Blow for Leopards as midfielder moves to SwedenRichard OdadaIn Serbia, Richard Odada featured full minutes as FK Metalac bounced back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over FK Spartak Subotica.
