Tiger Woods has arrived at Augusta.
The five-time Masters champion and 15-time major champion tweeted Sunday that he was heading to Augusta to continue his preparation and practice ahead of Thursday’s start of the 86th Masters.
His name later appeared on the list of news conferences scheduled for Tuesday. He was then seen on the course, riding in a golf cart to the practice area, then hitting balls with a driver as well as his irons.
Fellow pro Billy Horschel made his way over to say hello, as did good friend Kevin Na and 2021 Masters champ Hideki Matsuyama.
Woods is planning to attend the Masters Champions Dinner Tuesday. The first round of the tournament is Thursday.
On February 23, 2021, Woods suffered multiple, serious injuries to his right foot and right leg in a car crash north of Los Angeles. Nearly 14 months later, he’s at Augusta National Golf Club.
