Dennis Oliech unveils foundation

Kenyan legend Dennis Oliech on Monday 4 April unveiled his foundation with the aim of developing soccer talents through football scholarships among young boys and girls.The 37-year-old who is arguably one of the greatest Kenyan football exports is hoping to nature the next generation of footballers through his Dennis Oliech Foundation.The former Auxerre forward noted that it was time to give back to the community as he aims to develop talents and achieve his greatness or even surpass his stroke of genius. Dennis Oliech foundation will nurture young talents from the underprivileged in the society, and create social-economic awareness in the communities together,” read a post from Oliech.According to the foundation’s official portal it is registered in Kenya and in the United States of America as a Non-governmental organization.It adds that it was founded in 2005 by Oliech and his close associates and has headquarters in Nairobi and an operational base in the State of Texas in the United States.Oliech has plans to open contact centres in all 47 counties of the country and covers ages from three to 17 after which they will join a football club.
