Lawi coy on Sofapaka future

Sofapaka captain Lawrence Juma says he will make a decision on his future at the end of the season and is open to playing outside the country.Juma moved to Sofapaka in October 2020 from Gor Mahia and at the end of last season, he announced that he was keen on leaving the club due to the tough financial challenges that the team was facing then, a move however failed to materialize ad he returned to Batoto ba Mungu’s fold.Despite the team’s struggles, he has found the back of the net seven times already this season and remains a key player for the David Ouma-led outfit whose financial challenges are now a thing of the past with the players and staff salaries up to date. One of the best goals you’ll ever see. If anything good comes up, any player would be glad to take up such an opportunity,” he stated. No longer untouchable! If, and that’s a big if, someone comes in with an offer for Neymar – PSG would let him leaveAsked whether he has any offers on the table yet, the player was quick to quell the same insisting that he is fully focused on Sofapaka at the moment.”No team has approached me so far. And I don’t really want to discuss next season when we have important matches coming up. Right now I am focused on Sofapaka, I want to give my best in Sofapaka colors, next season will take care of itself,” he added.Lawi’s Sofapaka will take on league leaders Kakamega Homeboyz on Sunday in Kasarani.
