Something is not right for Juventus and their kid Moise Kean. The man who started his professional journey at the Turin club has already got experience of playing at the highest level in three of Europe’s top five leagues. After spending time with Everton and PSG, he returned to Juve as a replacement for the departed Cristiano Ronaldo. To say that Kean hasn’t filled the CR7-shaped void would be an understatement. The lad with Ivorian blood, who was born in Italy in 2000, is still considered one of the finest prospects in world football, but he isn’t a kid anymore. He’s had the luxury and the room for making young man’s mistakes in his first stint with the Bianconeri, but now he has to show the maturity and consistency required at such a big club. By all accounts – the maturity is there. Kean is confident, well-behaved, professional and dedicated. As for consistency – that’s where the problems begin.Moise Kean – Welcome To Juventus ⚪️⚫️ pic.twitter.com/omM0ZW5ciA— matthias (@matthiasf_) August 28, 2021 Coach Massimiliano Allegri is using Kean as an impact substitute – although the impact leaves a lot to be desired. He only got 17 minutes off the bench in the derby match against Inter last weekend. He came on to make the difference, but the stats say that he’d only touched the ball five times – and he lost three of those. It’s hardly the impact Allegri had hoped for. In total, Kean has made 33 appearances this season with a return of just five goals and two assists. The attacker is forever grateful to Allegri for launching him at a very young age in Serie A. He is now desperate to repay his coach and prove that he deserves to be a fan favourite.Thursday, 22.00: (2.40) Braga (3.25) Rangers (3.30)He has to prove that he’s no longer just a young man with high hopes but a player capable of staying in the team and always making a difference. He’s scored 17 goals in 41 appearances during his sole season on loan at Parc des Princes. That was enough for Juventus’ directors to take a gamble on Kean and make him wear black and white again. In the meantime, however, Alvaro Morata has rediscovered his form, and the club spent a lot of money to sign the Serbian goal machine Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina. Kean must now use the competition for places and prove to Allegri that he is the club’s future. Rennes are looking to make a move for Everton forward Moise Kean in the summer 🔴🔵#EFC #EvertonFC #Rennes #Ligue1 #PremierLeague It is unlikely that Juventus will sign Kean permanently in the summer. Let’s see! [@Sport_Witness ] pic.twitter.com/I5Dk8f0i4H— TransferForce (@force_transfer) April 4, 2022 But it may not be all up to him. Recent days have brought reports of interest from French side Rennes to sign Kean. Juventus agreed on a two-year loan deal last year with an obligation to buy, but if a third party offers Everton $38 million. With the Goodison club in financial problems, they would indeed accept any offer this year rather than wait for Juventus to pay the money a year later. The pressure is definitely on.
