AFC Leopards defender Tedian Esilaba has revealed that he at some point feared that his career would never be the same again after a an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) rapture that left him sidelined for 14-months.The central defender was forced off with a knee issue during a league match against Ulinzi Stars at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani in February 2021 an injury that would result in him spending time in the sidelines, he made his return over the weekend against Kenya Police FC at the Nyayo National Stadium as Ingwe whalloped the law enforcers 3-0.It has been a recovery journey that required patience as despite declaring that he was ready to play again, he had to wait for two months for his comeback. I was really frustrated and at some point thought my career wouldn’t be the same because of the months I was injured,” he told the Daily Nation.The win over Police ended Ingwe’s four-match winless run and the defender believes that the team has made an important turn.“The game against Kenya Police was a turning point for us and we should now endeavour to hit our target. The injury is now behind me and I want to improve my game,” he added
