Nzoia Sugar FC head coach Salim Babu believes his side is struggling to win at home because the players tend to put so much pressure on themselves when playing in front of their fans.Sabu has been in charge of the Millers for eight games since he took over in January. In the eight games, they have picked four wins and a similar number of draws, the wins however have all come on the road with three of the draws registered at home. The tactician now says his players are under pressure when playing at home and end up making avoidable mistakes, a trend that he wants to see brought to a halt.“I don’t understand why they put so much pressure on themselves when playing at home. Because you can see that they are in so much hurry to score and end up missing very easy chances that ordinarily they would have converted and won the game. When playing away, they are very composed in front of goal and score very good goals but at home, it is the exact opposite. I have been talking to them and I hope that we will be more composed in our next home game,” he stated.@nzoiasugarfc2 take on @BandariOfficial this Sunday at Sudi Stadium. #sweeteningkenyanfootball. @FKFcaretaker @Nzoiasugar @ElvisMukhwana pic.twitter.com/rSoBv8BodZ— NZOIASUGARFC (@nzoiasugarfc2) April 7, 2022 The Millers welcome Bandari to the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma on Sunday afternoon and Babu hopes that this is the match that will grant him his first home although he admits that it will not be an easy task as he faces a solid.“I definitely want to win at home, we want the fans to enjoy a home win and I hope that it comes against Bandari although they are a very good side. Coach Anthony Kimani is doing a good job, they lost their last game and we know that they will be desperate to return to winning ways when we play them. They also have some good caliber of players but we have prepared well and we are going to fight for the three points, the goal is to win because as you know we are not yet safe from relegation,” he added. The match starts at 3 PM.
