64 coaches applied for Burkina Faso job

After reaching fourth place at this year’s AFCON, it was widely expected that the coach Kamou Malo will stay at the helm of Burkina Faso national team, but their football federation surprisingly announced that they will not renew his contract and when he expired on February 28th, it was decided that the new coach will be selected via call for application. They also revealed the nationalities of all 64 candidates, and there are 19 of them: Algerian, German, English, Bosnian, Brazilian, Bulgarian, Burkinabe, Congolese, Scottish, Spanish, French, Gabonese, Italian, Ivorian, Portuguese, Serbian, Swiss, Turkish and Uruguayan. The next step for the recruitment committee will be to make a shortlist and invite all the candidates to Ouagadougou for a job interview.
