SS Assad chairperson Shukrani Kuzi says he hopes that his striker Zachariah Mwakisuwa, who was nabbed by DCI detectives on Thursday over alleged involvement in drug trafficking is innocent and that the whole issue is a misunderstanding.On Thursday afternoon, DCI took to their social media to parade four alleged traffickers, and among them was Mwakisuwa who is an Assad striker and is part of the National Super League’s side squad this season.According to the statement, the four were nabbed at Likoni Ferry in Mombasa with a substance suspected to be heroin after a tip-off from the public through the DCI’s anonymous toll-free number.“NOTORIOUS DRUG TRAFFICKERS Four notorious drug traffickers were arrested last evening at the Likoni Ferry in Mombasa, ferrying a substance suspected to be heroin.
