AFC Leopards coach Patrick Aussems has labeled Kayci Odhiambo’s injury as a problem and says the player will undergo further tests on Tuesday to determine the extent of the injury that he picked on Monday during a league match against Wazito FC.The young central defender went down clutching his knee two minutes into the second half in the buildup to Wazito’s goal and was immediately substituted as the ambulance was ushered into the pitch; he was replaced by Robert Mudenyu. In the closing stages of the game, he was seen limping back with a heavily bandaged knee.His coach is hoping that it is nothing too serious. The tactician explained that the youngster dislocated his knee and is set for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan to determine the extent of the damage.Kayci Odhiambo injured his knee against Wazito FC yesterday. He will be at the hospital for an MRI and after that we will know how long he will be out,” he stated.Odhiambo, a former Mt. Kenya United and Hakati Sportif player has established himself as an integral player for coach Aussems’ outfit. He joined the team at the start of the season initially as a midfielder but was moved to central defence where he has since cemented his place in the team.
