AFC Leopards head coach Patrick Aussems says it will be ‘easier’ to play Tusker FC, unlike the case during their last league match against Wazito FC at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani.Ingwe will be seeking a rare double over Tusker FC when they entertain the title-chasing Brewers at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani on Sunday afternoon. Ingwe stunned the Robert Matano-coached team on the opening day of the season beating them 1-0 despite having a largely depleted squad.Tusker are trail league leaders Kakamega Homeboyz by eight points and hope to close in by downing Aussems’ charges on Sunday. Homeboyz on the other hand will be in Nairobi to play limping Kenya Police FC at the Kasarani Annex on the same day.✍️| Eight massive finals: Hum Mieno🗣️| “We need as many points as possible and we will try gather as many wins as we can”Read More:| https://t.co/tD4of39tg1 pic.twitter.com/PsVhBIS7K3— 🏆Tusker FC (@tusker_fc) April 21, 2022 Ahead of the match, Aussems believes that the match will be a little better than was the case against Wazito last Monday where Ingwe survived Wazito’s onslaught to pick a point in a one-all draw.“We now play Tusker and for me, it is more difficult to play against Wazito because they play for their lives, they play to avoid relegation so they are 200% motivated. I know them (Tusker) well and so we are focused, it will be a good game except if we go play in Thika or Ruaraka,” he stated.Ingwe suffered a major injury blow against Wazito FC when fast-rising youngster Kayci Odhiambo picked a knee injury. He joins Tedian Esilaba on the medical table and Aussems says such injuries complicate things for the team.“All our games are tough especially if we are losing players (due to injury). But I repeat we are unbeaten in 12 matches because when we are not able to win we have to be able not to lose and in the last 19 games we only lost once,” he added. The match kicks off at 3 PM.
