After plundering his first goal of the year, Gor Mahia forward Benson Omala was elated to get back on the scoresheet in the 1-0 win over KCB on Saturday.Omala bagged the match winner in the 76th minute as he got on the the end of a Philemon Otieno freekick with a diving header that buried the ball into the roof of the net.Omala strikes late to guide Gor Mahia past hapless KCBSpeaking to Mozzart Sport, Omala was delighted to end his goal drought for the club but will not be resting on his laurels as he seeks to put in an extra shift to regain his form.”It is a very good feeling to score because it has been a while since I got on the scoresheet but I won’t get carried away by the goal as I will continue to work hard.
