Charged Pamzo working to build on sprightly Police draw with mighty Homeboyz

Kenya Police FC head coach Sammy Omolo was contented with the point that his side earned from the 2-2 draw against Kakamega Homeboyz on Sunday at the Kasarani Annex and says his team will build on the result going forward.Police twice went ahead through Clinton Kinanga and Clifton Miheso but levelers from Gaetan Masha and David Okoth ensured that the two teams shared the spoils. It was a bigger blow for Homeboyz who saw their lead at the top cut to six points after Tusker left it late to beat AFC Leopards at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani. It was the third draw in a row for the Kakamega-based side.Coming from a 2-1 defeat to FC Talanta a week earlier, Omolo appreciates the point against Bernard Mwalala’s charges. He says they will build on the result as we head to the final seven league matches of the season.FTPolice Fc 2-2 Kakamega HomeboyzThe spoils have been shared pic.twitter.com/ORUs6yQddg— KENYA POLICE FC (@kenyapolicefc) April 24, 2022 “I cannot complain about getting a point from this match because Homeboyz is a good team and at the top of the league. What we need to do is to build on this result in the remaining matches,” Omolo who has just won one game in charge of the law enforcers said.Pamzo has been in charge of the Police for the last six games. He has managed one win, three draws while the other two games have ended in defeats. The tactician has had to work with a thin squad after his five key players left for Police Training College.Next for them is an away match against City Stars on Sunday 1 May at the Ruaraka Grounds.
