KCB FC have posted wretched results in the second half of the season with head coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno claiming that their problems boil down to individual errors.The Bankers have only won two of their past 15 games, a run that has seen them plummet to eighth on the log after looking like serious title contenders at the start of the campaign. KCB refuse to throw in the towel on title raceKCB have been goal-shy this season after registering just 28 goals and have scored just six goals in the last 11 games.Zico noted some of the problems the side is facing are beyond coaching as he highlighted why they have not been finding the back of the net regularly. “The problem is individual because we as coaches only prepare the team to attack and how to score but now the final touch to the net is an individual ability so sometimes it’s disappointing.When we were playing Bandari you saw a player just miss on the line, if you miss such an opportunity is that coaching?” said Zico.Following the 1-0 defeat to Gor Mahia over the weekend, KCB have now lost back to back games and will be looking to avoid the third straight loss against AFC Leopards on Saturday.Zico seeks to instill confidence to solve KCB’s woesZico added that he can only remedy confidence as he hoped that his charges could build their mental fortitude in the remaining games of the season. “Going forward we need to give them confidence and hope the players will rectify their mental strength,” said the former Gor Mahia assistant coach.
