Posta Rangers dented Vihiga Bullets’ bid to survive the drop from the FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) after condemning the league newbies to a 1-0 defeat at Bukhungu Stadium on Saturday afternoon.Unbeaten in their last four games and in dire need of more wins, Bullets went into the game confident of getting points in order to move from that relegation zone. A win would have lifted them from the red zone to the playoff spot. The match was largely a contested affair with both teams creating goal-scoring chances. Good defending from both teams ensured that the deadlock was not broken inside the first 30 minutes of the game with a flurry of chances going either side.A minute before the interval, Posta winger Brian Marita opened the scoring with a close-range finish to put his team in the driving seat and leave Bullets with all to do in the second stanza of the game.FULL-TIME | Vihiga Bullets 0-1 Posta Rangers#FKFPL #RadullLive— @RadullLive (@radulllive) April 30, 2022 Juma Abdallah’s side pushed for the equalizer in the second half but they were kept at bay by the Mail-men who were determined to leave Bukhungu with maximum points.
