Long-serving football administrator Lodvrick Aduda has challenged the Sports Cabinet Secretary Amb. Amina Mohamed to come out and address football stakeholders on what they should expect to transpire next week after the lapse of the Football Kenya Federation Caretaker Committee’s mandated time.In November, the CS appointed a 15-member Caretaker Committee led by Justice (Rtd.) Aaron Ringera to manage the affairs of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF), just weeks after she had directed the Sports Registrar, Rose Wasike to conduct an inspection at Kandanda House with an eye on unearthing the financial plunder and grim governance reported at the institution. The Committee was to take charge for six months, with their stay set to come to an end on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, and with the CS being on record before saying she will not consider extending their stay.Ringera fears Caretaker Committee’s mandate will expire before achieving set tasksFIFA leniency gives latitude for reorganization of Kenyan footballIn light of the above, Aduda who once served as FKF CEO in its formative years opines that to avert a situation whereby there is a void left after the designated date, there is a need for the CS to explain to the actual stakeholder involved directly with football matters the next course of action.”It is important for the CS to come out and explain to actual stakeholders the next course of action now that the term of office for the Caretaker Committee is ending and she stated that she will not extend their stay. League matches, for instance, are scheduled to end on June 11, and the big question remains who will be in charge and therefore she needs to give a general direction on where we are,” Aduda told Mozzart Sport.Lodvrick Aduda is a brilliant mind…. It is important they know what exactly is going on other than waiting for May 11 to be in another quagmire. She is a regulator and thus the actual players in the sector need to know what she is up to come next week,” he added.Amina appoints a caretaker committee to manage FKF affairs
