The Denver women had a week to remember in Kansas.
All five Pioneers finished T-12 or better at Sand Creek Station Golf Club en route to a 21 shot win at 7 over for their third-straight Summit League Championship and and 17th conference win in program history. The 7-over 871 final score shattered the Summit League Championship record by seven strokes.
Denver was led by junior Anna Zanusso, who finished as the lone player under par at 3 under to claim medalist honors by five shots. Zanusso’s score also broke the previous conference record that was shared by six players including former Denver players Jessica Carty, Sophie Newlove and Mary Weinstein.
