Women Premier League (WPL) champions Thika Queens have yet another test on their hands as they face Super Cup and Women’s Cup champions Ulinzi Starlets on the weekend. The match slated for Sunday 8 May at Thika gives the hosts a chance to put their last match woes behind them and get back to winning ways but the soldiers are keen to maintain second place. This season has, however, been Ulinzi’s turn as they won the season-opening Super Cup clash against Thika on penalties. The military side also picked their first victory against the holders in a league match with a 1-0 outcome on the first leg played at Ruaraka Grounds.
