Ghost backs Kakamega Homeboyz to lift the title

Former Harambee Stars head coach Jacob Ghost Mulee believes that Kakamega Homeboyz can clinch the FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) title if they beat or draw against second-placed Tusker FC on Sunday afternoon at the Ruaraka Grounds. The top two teams in the league clash on Sunday afternoon with everything at stake. The Brewers have managed to cut Homeboyz’s lead at the top to just four points with six matches to go before the season comes to a close and many argue that the Bernard Mwalala led team could bottle what initially looked like a promising season for them.Ghost, a former Tusker FC coach sees the title heading out of Nairobi for the first time in 12 years if Homeboyz do not suffer defeat at the Ruaraka Grounds. Ulinzi Stars in 2010 was the last team outside the capital to life the league title“The gap between the two top teams on the log are only four and this coming weekend they will be clashing in a titanic battle between them when the Homeboyz will be visiting Tusker,” he said in an interview with Citizen.🗓️| Here is our May menu, starting off with this Sunday.Big push to the finish line.#KenyaMilele #Brewers4Life pic.twitter.com/btSwuDGjw0— 🏆Tusker FC (@tusker_fc) May 3, 2022 “It will depend on some facts; if Homeboyz will be able to collect maximum points from the Tusker or even force a draw then there will be an enormous possibility that the title will be heading outside of Nairobi, something that we have not seen for a very long time,”Former AFC Leopards team manager Joseph Milimu on the other hand called on Homeboyz to stop panicking after their recent four-match winless run that has seen Tusker close on them.“Homeboyz for now must relax because it will be their first time to win this title if things go in their favour. Just relax and take every match just like any other and they will manage, if not then it will be very difficult,” he stated. The match starts at 3 PM.
