Even though he spent most of his two-decade-long career playing at small stadiums in the lower leagues of English football, fate wanted Adebayo Akinfenwa to play his final match at the biggest stage of all – the Wembley Stadium.Wycombe Wanderers will face either Sheffield Wednesday or Sunderland to decide which club will be competing in the EFL Championship next season. Well, just look at him. The journeyman striker has played for 14 clubs over the last 21 years and, everywhere he went, he was the strongest.
